Continuing on Invader’s Invasion of Basque, now we’re onto the home stretch. After previously covering the artist’s 8 mosaics scattered in the region in all of the three major cities; this time, Invader added Bidart into the mix. Without further ado, let’s talk about everything you need to know about the mosaics BAB_52 - BAB_60.

BAB_52

BAB_52 is another mosaic that depicts an invader next to a surfing board, referencing the great waves for surfing in Anglet, one of the most famous cities for this sport.

BAB_53

Close to Rue de la Bergerie road sign, the BAB_53 depicts a white Invader encased inside a blue rectangle on a as if it were a local sign on the building's wall signaling the invasion of the area.

BAB_54

BAB_54 is a one-to-one piece placed in Bidart, depict a red Invader holding a beach ball. It is eagerly looking down at the beach, wanting to play on the beach and enjoy the area with others. Unfortunately, the mosaic has been destroyed.

BAB_55

Place at the Cité de l'Océan et du Surf, BAB_55 depicts a blue Invader seemingly floating around in the ocean. It is in reference of where the mosaic is installed, a museum that opened in Biarritz, 2011.

BAB_56

At the Port des Pêcheurs, BAB_56 depicts a white Invader with bright red eyes, placed on the middle of a concrete wall next to the shore.

BAB_57

BAB_57 depicts a black UFO with bright windows beaming down green rays on a black Invader, trying to transport the Invader back up to the mothership. Upon scanning with the official application, FlashInvaders, the words “Le Rayon Vert” appear, possibly referencing the Green Way movie and phenomenon. In addition, this particular building has the words “The Rayon Vert” carved next to the front door.

BAB_58

In Anglet, BAB_58 is a poster-like mosaic with one being a dolphin over the sunset and one being yellow with some pattern on top.

BAB_59

BAB_59 depicts a white Invader with black eyes on the side of the concert hall, Atabal Biarritz. It is cheering on concert goers, wishing them an enjoyable concert.

BAB_60

Placed next to the Casino Barriere, BAB_60 depicts four playing cards with four suits: Clubs, Hearts, Clubs, and Diamonds, though an Invader symbol replaces the Diamonds.
